We prepare structural calculations, BIM models and drawings for steel, concrete, wood, masonry and cold-formed framing, plus structural assessments, seismic evaluations and retrofit analysis — complete and traceable, prepared for review and stamp by a California-licensed PE. We also provide BIM coordination, drafting, bid and proposal support, and engineering education.
2. How do I start a project with Njoya Engineering?

3. What is the typical project timeline?
It depends on scope. A schedule is issued with the proposal after the initial consultation, and we hold to it or tell you early. We do not quote a timeline before we have seen the scope.
4. How are project fees determined?
Fees are based on project scope, complexity, and required deliverables. We provide a detailed proposal with a transparent breakdown of costs after the initial consultation.
5. Is Njoya Engineering a licensed engineering firm?
No, and we say so up front. Njoya Engineering does not hold a California Professional Engineer licence, does not stamp or certify drawings or calculations, and does not act as the engineer of record. Giles Domkam is an Engineer-in-Training (EIT). Stamp work is routed to a California-licensed PE, or stays with your own engineer of record. That boundary is what makes Njoya straightforward to hire as a subcontractor. The firm is a certified California Small Business (Microbusiness), DGS Certification ID 2055760.
6. How do you ensure project quality and safety?
Pinned code editions, so no clause is cited unless it resolves to a pinned edition. A logged, reconstructable run for every calculation — input hash, engine version, editions, reviewer and date. An independent second-method check on governing results before they move past review. And a named human sign-off: nothing is approved or issued without a named reviewer, and AI is never on the load path.
